A horrifying hit and run case in Brooklyn has left a 3-month-old infant dead while critically injuring three others.
According to local media outlets, the driver slammed into a baby’s stroller while moving on the wrong side of the road on a Brooklyn street. The devastating impact of the horror crash sent the baby flying 15 to 20 feet in the air, resulting in her tragic and instant death.
Police reports confirmed how the shocking incident took place around 6:20 pm as the driver tried to T-bone another Black toned Honda Civic on the roads, precisely located at an intersection between both Vanderbilt and Gates Avenues, on Clinton Hill.
Due to the massive impact of the crash, it has been revealed that one or both of the vehicles slammed into the 32-year-old mother who was peacefully taking a stroll on the road with her child.
Witnesses described the horror crash as beyond tragic as the infant passed away on the spot due to the speed at which the vehicles slammed into the stroller. While the child was rushed to the nearby Brooklyn Hospital, paramedics claimed that she succumbed to her critical injuries.
While the driver also sustained injuries, he managed to hit and run from the scene of the crime. Moreover, the mother was also left with critical injuries but is known to have survived the horror. At the same time, police also confirmed how another 39-year-old man was wounded in the accident.
Currently, the baby’s mother is undergoing surgery at Brooklyn’s Methodist Hospital, and that’s where she continues to remain in a severe condition.point 255 |
