Buried alive by mistake
While we all make mistakes in life, some are truly unforgivable. And that is what brings us to a heartbreaking story about a 37-year-old woman. Rosangela Almeida dos Santos was from Brazil’s Riachao das Neves.
Moreover, local news outlets went as far as confirming how she lay conscious inside for a whopping 11 days. And that was as she attempted to fight her way out from the tomb.
Santos made brave attempts to break her way through her wooden casket. And was reportedly nailed shut, right after loved ones and acquaintances buried her alive.
Family members to the rescue
After hearing reports of screaming from the grave for 11 days, the news alerted Santos’ family members. Therefore, they made an attempt to smash open her grave to see what was the real matter.
Shocking footage of the incident even went viral, after commotion broke out in her hometown. Certainly, the news was a unique one. Screaming from the grave was every fantasy and horror-themed like. But again, anything and everything is possible in the world right.
Media houses placed reporters at the Santana cemetery to focus on the bizarre incident, which took place at the northeastern side of Brazil. Slowly but surely, her loved ones took out her heavy-weight coffin, removing the lid.

Unfortunately, it was actually too late. The rescue efforts took place too late to really save the 37-year-old woman’s life. But how exactly did the incident unfold in the first place?
Well, on January 28th, doctors declared Santos dead. And the very next day, loved ones buried her at the Santana cemetery. Soon, reports started breaking in when homes located near the cemetery made strange reports to news agencies. They comprised of weird sounds from her grave, perhaps attempts of a woman screaming with bangs.

Santos reportedly suffered from two heart attacks, right before she died from septic shock, as mentioned on her death certificate. She had a history of poor mental health from childhood and even took meds for her convulsions too. But as you can tell by now, loved ones bid her farewell a tad bit too soon as she still had life in her.
