A woman who tied the knot with a dolphin is now mourning the death of her husband.
Sharon Tendler says she will never marry again after losing the love of her life.
The ‘one dolphin woman’ said she knew it was love when she first saw her husband named Cindy.
According to the Daily Star, Sharon said she felt an instant connection with Cindy the dolphin even though he was already 39 years old.
The two dated for a while, with Sharon making countless trips to Israel to see her boyfriend.
The two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Dolphin Reef in the Israeli port of Eilat, with the 26-year-old wearing a white dress with flowers around her head.
Speaking after the ceremony, Sharon said: “It’s not a perverted thing. I do love this dolphin. He’s the love of my life.
“It’s not a bad thing. It’s just something that we did because I love him, but not in the way that you love a man. It’s just a pure love that I have for this animal.”
Sadly, their love story came to a sudden end as Cindy passed away months later.
After hearing the heartbreaking news of her husband’s death, Sharon said she will never love again, telling the Star: “I am a one dolphin woman.”
In Devon, a 49-year-old woman married a duvet claiming it was the ‘most intimate and reliable relationship’ she has ever had.
Pascale Sellick organized the ceremony with a wedding planner so she could celebrate her love for the duvet.
She issued an open invitation to anyone who wanted to celebrate the big day with her.
