Horrifying footage from a recent car crash incident shows how an irate driver and his passengers violently assault traffic agents from the NYPD.

The wild incident left so many citizens in absolute awe when they laid their eyes on the footage that is now going viral as we report. The video showcases how the driver and his passenger abruptly leave their vehicle and then make their way towards a police traffic agent.

Local media outlets confirmed how the incident took place at about 6:30 pm on a Thursday, located near W. 40th Street and 11th Avenue. And that is where a total of three traffic agents did everything in their power to prevent a black-toned Hyundai from fleeing the scene of a reported car crash.

Police claim that they wanted to prevent the car from making a run for it as they knew it was a crime scene but the vehicle which had a Florida-based number plate managed to getaway.

The driver was identified as a 24-year-old man while the passenger was identified as a 17-year-old male. Both the suspects were seen attacking the agents but soon afterward, they managed to jump back into their vehicle and then make a run for it.

Witnesses identified the suspects making a run for it towards the Lincoln Tunnel. Soon afterward, the duo was chased down by the officers hailing from the Port Authority Police. Now, charges remain pending till Friday afternoon.

The victims included three traffic agents from the New York Police Department. They reportedly suffered from injuries that required medical attention and that’s why paramedics were called to the scene.

More reports when on to reveal how the officers were taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for all the cuts, bruises that they received to their faces as well as their heads.
