Disturbing video footage has recently surfaced showing a white woman harassing black soldiers at a Virginia-based IHOP restaurant.
The video captured the exact moment when the woman begins to flip out upon the soldiers, right after she offered her help by offering them help for their meal payments. However, things soon turned ugly quickly as she began to accuse them of stealing her money in an instant.
Local media outlets confirmed how one of the Black soldiers had quickly started recording the shocking incident on his phone and then shared it through his TikTok followers too.
One spokesperson for the Army Times named Joe Richard mentioned how the woman put in $30 on the table where the men sat down for their pancake meal as she wished to pay for their breakfast. He also mentioned how this was something very rare, considering the fact that they were all military personnel.
“People usually don’t do something like that when they meet military personnel,” he added.
Right before the woman left the eatery in Virginia, she suddenly came back to their table and took away $24 back and left the restaurant, leaving $6 across the table.
Moments later, she returned and began created a major fuss. In addition, she started to verbally abuse the men, claimed Richards.
“The woman began very antagonistically all of a sudden. She started to claim that the soldiers seated had taken away her money while directing some racially charged abusive language at them too,” he added during an interview with a media outlet.
“You guys are s*** bags! Are you the BLM? Are you the Antifa? Are you the thin blue line,” the woman started to yell.
Next, the video shows how the woman then makes her way to come and seat herself down at the very same booth that the soldiers sat upon. She even made attempts to block one of the Black soldiers from making an exit.
Soon, you can hear the soldiers boldly request the woman to leave them alone, right before another man who was reportedly a retired airman makes his way to the table and begins to step in the conversation. He angrily tells the woman to leave the restaurant’s premises immediately.
But that doesn’t turn out to be an easy fix as the hesitant woman starts to pick up a brawl between him too, questioning who he is to ask her to leave. On that note, the ex-airman can be heard saying how the restaurant is committed to supporting the ideals of equity, inclusion, and diversity in the armed forces.
IHOP later released a statement mentioning how it does not support the ideas of racism, harassment, or bigotry of any form.
