Travis Scott has come under scrutiny after being accused of inciting the crowd and contributing to deaths at the Astroworld Festival by refusing to stop the show.
Following days after eight people were trampled to death during his performance, Travis Scott, who was accused of inciting the crowd and committing negligence at the Astroworld Festival, has come under scrutiny with his past incidents resurfacing.
It has now once again come to light that the rapper, who pled to disorderly conduct on different occasions in the past, spat on one of his fans back in 2015.
During his 2015 performance in St. Gallen, Switzerland, the 30-year-old spat at one of the concertgoers after the fan tried to steal one of his shoes.
Following the confrontation, Travis went on to incite the crowd by repeatedly telling them to ‘f*** up’ the man who allegedly attempted to steal his shoe.
“Get that motherf***er, get him. You tried to take my shoe? You want to be a thief? F**k him up! F**k him up!” he yelled as the security guards struggled to keep him on the stage.
Travis was previously convicted on two occasions after inciting the crowd to climb security barriers and encouraging fans to jump off balconies.
In 2015, the rapper pled guilty to a misdemeanor after telling people at Lollapalooza in Chicago to jump security barriers.
“All my real ragers jump the barricade right now. Let’s go. Come over. I want chaos,” Travis said at the time.
Two years later, in May 2017, one concertgoer was severely injured after the rapper encouraged his fans to jump off a balcony in New York.
The same year, the rapper also encouraged fans to breach security barriers and storm the stage during his performance in Arkansas. This incident saw him convicted once again in 2018.
