A devastating and sobering glimpse inside one of Texas’s overloaded migrant facilities revealed the most heartbreaking reality.
The images were captured at the Customs and Border Protection tent city in the state of Texas where conditions were of the dire extreme. In the same way, the shelter showcased some extremely overcrowded conditions that were faced by hundreds of unaccompanied kids, who are currently present in US custody.
In the same way, the images were provided by Rep. Henry Cueller who claims they were of the most recent kind and were captured over the weekend. He added how it was a soft-sided CBP facility that was located near Donna in Texas. However, he did go on to confirm how the images were not captured by himself.
The shocking and tragic reality comes as president Joe Biden’s administration is in the line of fire with great forms of criticism across the board. Many experts warn of the devastating impact of the surge in migrants with so many blaming the president’s poor governance and policy-making for the results.
On the other hand, former US President Donald Trump was also quick to point fingers at Biden for the failure of action against such a serious incident. Moreover, he mentioned that the president has turned the southern border of the country into a national disaster.
Currently, the nation’s migrant facilities claim to be more than 7 times their maximal capacity and that is extremely worrying for many. Now, the recent pictures are adding more fuel to an already growing fire, with many questioning the president’s stance over the condition.
In the same way, many people believe that Biden’s government is imparting a media blackout over these facilities to hide the sad truth of the situation as a whole. Moreover, they also believe that the current US government is also refusing to allow any journalists from visiting as well as reporting over the dire conditions too.
Now, experts believe that kids need to be moved to a better location and hence be handed over into the care of the US Department of Health as well as Human Services.
