A schoolgirl who previously claimed that a 10-year-old boy got her pregnant has made a shocking announcement and is now under police investigation.
Darya Sudnishnikova was just 13 when she had her daughter, Emilia, now 11 months, hitting headlines around the world after claiming on national TV her then 10-year-old ex-boyfriend, Ivan (Vanya), was the father.
But Russian experts said it was “impossible” and Darya later claimed that in fact, she became pregnant after she was raped by a boy, 15, on a stairwell, but had been too ashamed to admit it.
After that shock revelation came to light, a criminal investigation into the rape claim was launched and it’s believed that police have taken DNA samples from Darya’s baby.
The criminal investigation is reportedly ongoing but meanwhile, she insisted on keeping the child, Emilia, or Milya. Her daughter, Emilia, was born in August 2020, with Darya telling her followers that she had given birth “to a girl at 10 am.”
Darya later split from Ivan and started seeing another boy, 17-year-old Pasha Bochko. However, the now-15-year-old girl informed her followers that she believes she is six weeks pregnant.
Darya shared a snap of a pregnancy test with her followers on Instagram and captioned the photo with: “I’m shocked. Looks like I’m pregnant again. From Pasha?”.
Darya says she had slept with Pasha after she took a trip during her school holiday from her home in Siberia to Samara, where he lives.
“Could it be pregnancy?” Darya told her online supporters. “We had protected sex if this matters.”
She has seen a gynecologist discuss her decision whether or not to terminate the pregnancy.
“The father of this child is Maksim because for the past five or maybe even eight months I have had no other sexual partner,” Darya wrote on a Telegram channel. “I don’t know what to do, I really do not. I cannot decide on abortion because I do not know exactly how many weeks.”
“If it is really six weeks, it is already a fetus,” she added. “But I cannot have this baby because I clearly realize that I am unable to raise another child. I already have one. I will not have any time for the second one.”

Darya has spoken about how her mother Elena, 36, and boyfriend reacted to her news.
“She was deeply shocked and said shall I beat you with a belt or? I said, no, please,” Darya said. “Then she asked, “Who is the father? I said – “Maksim”.
Elena then told Darya to take a test and see a doctor.
“Damn. I still cannot believe this,” Darya added.
She also claimed her boyfriend called her “stupid” after discovering the unexpected pregnancy and slammed his reaction online.
“You are so stupid,” the boyfriend’s message reads. “You got pregnant and claim this is my child. You do not have brains at all.”
“I took birth control pills,” Darya replied. “But THEY DID NOT WORK!”
When a follower suggested it was “wrong” to have sex at her age and without a condom, she replied: “You should ask Maksim. Why did he not use condoms? Not me.”
“If a person is ready for sexual intercourse and fully trusts his or her partner, it is all right. Why do you need to wait until your 18th birthday?” she added.
Darya, who reportedly earns approximately $9000 a month since rising to social media fame as a teen mom, has 650,000 followers on Instagram and gained more than one million on TikTok but her account is currently blocked after complaints she is underage.
Her earnings are 12 times the average adult monthly salary in the Russian region, Krasnoyarsk, where she lives.
However, the work has meant that Darya has been unable to return to school, as she said that her teachers didn’t approve of her career.
The teachers also refused to let Darya return to school, claiming that because of her pregnancy, she had fallen too far behind her fellow students.
Darya said that this decision had completely “ruined” her plans to finish school and go on to get a good job.
However, Darya and her boyfriend are being probed by the Investigative Committee of Russia, which reviews serious crimes, over her underage pregnancy. The age of approval in Russia is 16.
“The girl met with a 17-year-old resident of Samara region, as a result of which she became pregnant,” a statement from the committee reads. “In July 2021, the minor went to a medical institution, where during an examination she was diagnosed as pregnant.”
The committee will decide on any case after questioning the teenage mom.
Darya reacted to the investigation by saying that she would again be the “news of my town”, Zheleznogorsk, a nuclear manufacturing town in Siberia closed to outsiders.
Darya was pictured in tears when she initially found out she was pregnant for the second time. She told her subscribers that she would “handle it” with the new baby, and asked them to “respect my decision”.
