Hannah Lee Powers is from Louisiana but she recently made some startling announcements. And that’s when she spoke up about how she’s dedicating herself to a rather unique movement. Moreover, it’s a commitment that received approval during the annual Purity Ball.
Very rare do we find people talking about safeguarding their virginity. But this just might be one major exception to the norm. The 17-year-old is now revealing why she is committing to the famous American Purity Movement and for many, it’s a unique affair.

America’s Purity Movement is all about a platform that gives rise to young women who pledge abstinence to dads regarding their virginity.
And only recently, Hannah Lee Powers joined the bandwagon.
Meanwhile, you could see the teen smiling wide after dedicating an entire movement to no sex before marriage. How unique is that?The Purity Ball ceremony had her father on board and he attended it with absolute grace and dignity. What more could a dad ask for at the end of the day?

In a day and age like today, very rare do you see teens committing to pledges like these.
And that’s why it’s not surprising to call this a moment of pride for a father.
Above all, the fact that she’s so young is another factor worth consideration. How many girls her age would make a vow like that? Well, very few, that’s for sure.Today, the teen says that she’s proud of her deeds, and making her dad happy is a priority. At the same time, she admits to how it strengthens her relationship with her father. Let’s not forget her commitment to God too.

Likewise, she knows that this isn’t something that everyone will agree with and she is fine with that.
‘I’m doing for myself. You may think that this is weird but it’s always something that I wanted to do,’ she exclaims.‘I’m making a promise to God that I’ll stay pure until my marriage.’ How wise is this young girl!
Hannah also exclaims how many think that it’s super weird to do all of this. And she also says that she doesn’t feel the need to do what other girls are doing in today’s time. ‘If I make a promise to myself, I like to stick to it.’ ‘I have made a promise that I would like to stay pure until marriage.’
The most shocking yet unique statements made by the young girl included, ‘I don’t need to have sex to show that I am loved.’
The purity movement- walk back into time
So where did the teen pledges virginity Purity Movement actually start from? Well, it was all at Colorado Springs, around 20 years back.
This movement started off, thanks to one Evangelist- Randy Wilson.
He and his wife started off with little supporters but with time, it grew into a massive 48 state expansion within 17 countries.During the ceremony, girls from all over make pledges that abstain from having sex. Here, the young girls don up in white long gowns while the father dresses up smartly in suits. It’s like a dinner and dance event- all representing a daughter’s chastity.
