A 32-year-old female has committed the offense of sleeping with 5 students between 2013 to 2019.
Fiona Viotti was a private teacher at Bishops Diocesan College. As an active faculty member, she taught two subjects. However, the sexual misconduct incident has left a scar with her name in Cape Town.
The private school took action when a number of victims reported the offense. But it was an 18-year-old pupil whose first confession led to an outburst. Unsurprisingly, he claimed that he was sexually involved with the teacher.
The student described his relationship as ‘sexually intense.’ He went on claiming how the teacher adopted a controlling attitude against him.
Upon allegations, the school took immediate action against the teacher. It decided to hire a number of lawyers They would lead the legal investigations.
The alleged teacher, Viotti, was hired by the private school to teach history. She was also elected as the water polo coach.
A recent statement released by the school made many claims. It said the teacher resigned on her own grounds. Consequently, no further disciplinary actions would be appointed.
