As the viewers say, being tall is not something one has to control over plus it is not a fault. The movies highlight how the life of a tall girl has become such a difficult deal owing to her unwanted height. To be honest, this has got us confused as well. Why is the height of a woman such a big issue that Netflix made a movie on it? Have you ever seen a movie on a boy being short or being taller than 6’1?
Unarguably, we understand the nature of the movie is rom-com and it should make us all laugh. But not everything is funny and easy to take. Just because you think you can narrate an idea in comedy, does not mean it is not to be taken seriously.

This is how the whole narrative of ‘take it easy’ gets nurtured. When women think one particular idea is not funny rather we should take is quite seriously, men don’t like it. They hate women getting serious because according to their perception of this gender, women should just laugh at everything they think is funny.
