When clicks of one of Egypt’s famous models, Salma-al-Shimi, went on the net, people went crazy. However, when news of her arrest for carrying out the shoot hit spread, people couldn’t handle it. In the clicks, Salma poses boldly in a fitted pharaoh- like attire.

The backdrop is a serene landscape that contains Egypt’s star pyramids. Unfortunately, not too many people saw eye to eye with the photographer’s vision.

And that resulted in the sultry photoshoot getting plenty of criticism from the country’s officials.

Soon, people were quick to judge the photographer and his model. They began calling the shoot offensive. On the other hand, some didn’t shy away from calling it disturbing. But still, viewers continued to share the images, left and right.

The permission factor arises

Sources explained how it wasn’t right for the duo to conduct such a sultry photoshoot without any permission. On the other hand, officers accused the photographer, Houssam Mohammad, of clicking ‘without authorization.’
