If your answer was one goldfish, then that’s not right. You probably thought the sum was all about 10-2-4-3-=1, but that’s not the case here.
Firstly, all fish breathe under the water, hence they can’t drown. In this case, they’re all in a tiny bowl, so either way, they can’t get away. And in case they die, well, they are still going to be inside the bowl!
So the answer related to how many fish were still left and not about how many are alive. Hence, the final answer is in fact 10 fish!
