Leah Huddersfield, a resident of West Yorkshire, was left speechless when she discovered a whole soggy potato in a bag of lightly salted crisp.
30-year-old Leah went to a local supermarket to buy her lunch while working from home. She bought a few packets of lightly salted crisps for herself and her boyfriend. She didn’t notice anything unusual when she bought the crisps.
On reaching home, when she opened the crisp packet, she was surprised to see a whole soggy potato instead of finely cut crisps. She was flabbergasted at the moment that she didn’t even know what to say. Amused at the situation, her boyfriend kept munching his crisps as everything was fine with his packet.
Leah shared this strange event that happened with her, on social media and told people that her mind went completely blank on seeing this. She wasn’t expecting a whole potato in her crisps’ packet. Elaborating further, she proclaimed that this little potato is undoubtedly a survivor and a champion who refused to be crisp.
Although Leah was hungry, she didn’t eat the potato, which is a wise decision. Another person, Richard Bootman, claimed that he had the same experience when he bought the bag of Snakerite steak and onion crisps from the same store. The 25-year-old told in an interview that he was shocked when this happened to him.
According to him, he has no issue with what happened with him earlier. Although, he prefers to feel up the crisp bag to confirm that there isn’t any whole potato in it now.
