Two schoolboys were arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a senior teacher was brutally murdered.
Nohema Graber, 66, was a dedicated teacher and an “absolute angel” who taught the Spanish class at Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Iowa, before she was brutally murdered by two of her students.
According to the reports, the woman’s body was found under a wheelbarrow in Chautauqua Park, where the teacher would commonly go for a stroll, on November 3 after her concerned family reported her missing.
Following the grisly discovery, the authorities tracked down two 16-year-old schoolboys who allegedly premeditated the murder of their teacher and discussed the killing on social media afterward.
Though the police refused to comment on the motive or the nature of the teen’s social media messages or posts, they remain convinced that the killing was carried out by schoolboys Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller.
After Miller and Goodale were arrested over the brutal murder, they have been charged as adults with first-degree murder with their bond set at $1 million. The pair will appear in court on November 12.
In a tribute to his beloved mother, who was a well-regarded high school teacher, son Christian revealed how Nohema was an “angel” as he forgave her killers and wished them peace.
“I’m sorry I can’t respond to the all of the messages but I’ll just say what I’ve been told. My mother passed away,” Christian wrote in his post.
“As I understand it was pre attempted murder by two students. I forgive them and feel sorry that they had that anger in their hearts. There’s no point in being angry at them. We should hope that they can find peace in their lives.
“My mother was an angel of a woman and was one of the kindest souls. She gave me the gift of the Spanish language and helped many of her students over the years. She was well loved in the community and around the world.”
The grieving son added: “Thanks to everyone who reached out. I may ask for some help with things in the following days but in the end everything will be ok. Te amo madre.”
