According to media reports, the Christian school from Oklahoma refused to spare the young 8 year old for passing out such remarks while playing on the school’s playground. They immediately kicked her and her brother out, after the news broke out.
Now, the mother is going viral after explaining her side of the story. But that isn’t convincing the school who claim they have zero tolerance for such behavior and no room for forgiveness. In addition, they added how they could simply never support same-sex relationships too.

Yes, as bizarre as that sounds, it’s the true story of a second grader from Oklahoma. Chloe Shelton received the shock of her life when the school she once called home expelled her for calling her female friend her crush.
On the other hand, the 8-year-old girl’s mum, Delanie Shelton explained how the school’s administration called her up to break the news. Rejoice Christian Schools is located in Owasso and that is exactly where the baffling incident took place recently. Young Chloe was playing with her female friend when she suddenly had the urge of making a strange confession.
She told her on the playground that she had a crush on her. But the drama didn’t end there.
The school leaves the young girl in tears
After the incident took place, the young child headed towards the principal’s office. Getting called out for her wrongdoing, the girl broke down in tears when the school’s officials mentioned how the Bible only allowed girls to marry men and not women.
On that note, they called up her mum and asked her to pick up her kids. They added how the school had zero room for such students. But what really led to the expulsion is how the mum defended her daughter’s behavior.
According to news outlets, the vice principal sat down with the young child. She explained to her that women could only fall in love with men. In the same way, she talked about how women could only have kids with a man and that was mentioned in the holy book.
Immediately later, young Chloe couldn’t handle her emotions. She began crying heavily questioning, “Does God still love me?”
Mother defends daughter’s actions
Shelton talked about her views when the vice principal called her into her office. The mum explained that she is ok with the thought of girls liking girls. And that was in response to the question put forward by the vice principal herself regarding same-sex relationships.
Baffled and appalled beyond belief, the vice principal appeared enraged with fury. Now, the mum complains that the school ripped her kids away for no reason.
“That was the only school they’ve ever been to. They had so many friends and teachers that they loved. Now, it’s all gone in an instant,” she added.
In the end, the mum says that she tries her level best to raise her children with liberal views. And that means it’s okay to love anyone and everyone.
Currently, the mum is on the search for a new educational institution for her young kids. “People should love whoever they want to, regardless of gender,” she exclaimed.
