A mother is sharing her utter heartbreak and disbelief after she was reportedly kicked out of a restaurant for feeding her newborn son.
Ruby Meeden says she and her husband were brutally treated by a local restaurant when they decided to show up with their four-day-old baby, alongside their elder child.
Moreover, the couple claims that they were only there to meet another family but they received the shock of their life when she was asked to leave the restaurant premises immediately when she made an attempt to nurse her hungry child.
Speaking on the subject of breastfeeding, this mother claims that she’s heard the wildest of stories but nothing beats her nightmare come true on this occasion.
The couple went on to state how they were super excited to meet friends and introduce them to their baby son named Rhett. In addition, the couple called this particular restaurant their favorite but little did they know of the surprise that they were in for.
Upon arrival, little Rhett gave the couple a tough time, crying and screaming. It was evident that he was hungry and that’s why this mother opted to nurse her newborn in a discreet manner and that meant facing towards the wall.
However, that just wasn’t good enough for the eatery who found her behavior unacceptable and decided to create a fuss out of no real issue. The restaurant’s officials came to the couple and called them out for nursing, adding how they were no longer welcome here.
The baby’s father became furious and began questioning the reason why and that’s when the restaurant began misbehaving.point 227 |
They refused to explain the reason in detail and just told them to leave.point 60 | Shockingly, the restaurant even had the audacity to send the couple an online message, referring to the mother named Ruby as an animal and asking her to never come back again.point 205 | 1
The couple decided to take their incident from the Washington-based eatery public by putting up a post on Facebook, alongside a screenshot attached of the rude text. After giving a one-star review, the restaurant revealed in detail how they just didn’t accept people who breastfed inside the eatery.
