A cheeky monkey is going viral after shocking new footage showed him drinking alcohol from a bottle which he managed to swipe at a local liquor store in India. Clearly, this monkey has proved to so many of us that primates comprise a number of human characteristics that some may fail to notice upon at first glance.
Not only did the monkey enter the store with a bang, but he also downed an entire bottle of wine as revealed in the shocking new footage. The Newslions video has gone viral ever since, with constant likes, shares, and comments from across the board.
Here, you can clearly see the effects taking a toll on the cheeky fellow who appears all boozed up and drunk. And it’s no wonder why his actions are blowing up the web and so many people’s minds too.
While the video is only about a minute long, the clip that was initially recorded on a Wednesday claims to give a new light to monkeys that many people aren’t usually used to seeing.
Here, the mischievous fellow sits upon the liquor store’s counter in what is being described to be the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This is originally located in the central part of India. The monkey shows off his bottle of booze that he conveniently manages to hold in one of his hands.
Next, he starts to unscrew the bottle of wine using both his teeth as well as his hands. And at that point, you can also catch a glimpse of a fairly frustrated owner who tries to lure the cheeky fellow away from his wine by persuading him with a biscuit. But if you think that would be enough to get him off the booze, you’re surely mistaken.
The thirsty monkey starts to slurp up the booze after conveniently opening up the bottle as plenty of onlookers view the fascinating situation. Clearly, it was definitely a sight that plenty did not wish to miss, for obvious reasons. After all, how rare does one come across a drunken monkey in broad daylight!
