A married woman opened up about her longtime affair saying cheating on her husband helped save her marriage.

The lady in question, Gilly, spoke candidly as she revealed that she started having affairs with multiple men some ten years into her marriage because her husband could not fulfill her needs in the bedroom.

“My husband wasn’t fulfilling me and I did at the time feel like it was causing arguments because I felt like I was pressuring him [to be intimate],” the Scotswoman told The Mirror.

“No one wants to feel like s** is a chore, it’s completely the opposite of what it should be – fun!

“So me just being me… a bit adventurous, I thought I’d give it a go. It was on a whim at first that clearly has just stuck. I didn’t set out for the long haul.”

The woman went on to admit that she initially changed her boyfriends frequently before settling on a married man who was also looking for ‘love’ outside marriage.

The pair have since been stuck to each other for seven years while their respective partners still have no idea about their affair.

“We meet up and it’s always a thrill. Sometimes it’s naughty in public places, and others it’s in our houses or hotels, but it’s always passionate,” Gilly added.

“We also meet up like any other couple for dates. It’s like a completely normal relationship without the annoying naggy bits.”

As for her plans for the future, Gilly has no intention of revealing her secret to her husband. She has credited her affair for saving her marriage and insists that one man could never satisfy all of her needs.

“For me, it ensures my needs are met from all angles. I think it’s unrealistic to expect one person to be able to fulfil and meet every single need you have – s**, conversation, stability, security,” she concluded.

“It’s not possible for one person to do all that, I don’t think. Letting yourself love multiple people I think helps you appreciate them even more because you’re focusing on what they add to you, not what they lack.

“My lover fulfils my side of adventure and my husband gives me stability and security – he’s who I’d trust with my life.”
