A distraught woman has asked the internet for advice after one fart brought her marriage to the brink of collapse.
As the Aussie woman in question, whom we shall call Emma, revealed in her Kidspot post, her husband-of-nine-years, Rob, refuses to forgive her “unladylike” and “disgusting” behavior, causing their relationship to start collapsing.
According to Emma, Robb has always hated seeing women burp or fart which is why she made sure to avoid doing either in front of him throughout the years.
One night, however, the woman let a loud one rip right in front of her moody husband after eating too much pizza.
That’s when Robb lost it and told her that “farting is the most unladylike thing a woman can do, especially in front of her husband.”
She continued: “Yep, the worst flatulence scenario happened, I farted, and it wasn’t a small or inoffensive smelling one either. In fact, it was probably one I’d be embarrassed about even if I was alone in the toilet.”
After letting one go in front of her husband, Emma quickly apologized to her husband, and while he seemingly accepted the apology, she allegedly still feels his disappointment up to this day.
The guy also continues reminding her how “disgusting” and “distasteful” the habit of farting or burping in front of other people is.
Though Emma’s friends have since lashed out at the man and his pet hate, the loyal wife believes her husband has a right to be upset about these things because he is “wonderful” and accepting in every other way.
