‘How Am I Supposed To Defend A Country That Treats Women Like Second-Class Citizens?’ US Army Medic Blasts End Of Roe V. Wade

A US Army medic has gone viral on social media for slamming national leaders for treating “women like second-class citizens” after the Supreme Court decided to overturn Roe v Wade.

Sgt. Rahasenfratz, who just renewed her contract with the Army, took to TikTok and questioned how she’s supposed to “defend the Constitution and country” when the nation does not “give a rats a** about me.”

She also argued that getting rid of federal abortion protections will have an “unintended consequence” of lowering the retention rates for female military members who “are more likely to experience unplanned pregnancies” and already have poor access to reproductive healthcare.

In her viral video shared on June 24, Rahasenfratz said: “I am heartbroken. I am enraged. I am terrified.”

“I just extended my contract to continue serving this country a week ago. How am I supposed to swear to support and defend the Constitution and a country that treats its women like second class citizens?” she expressed.

“How am I supposed to do that? How am I supposed to do that with pride? How am I supposed to do that with love and honor?

“How am I supposed to wake up every day and put on a frickin’ uniform that says ‘United States Army,’ when the United States doesn’t even give a rat’s a** about me.”

The medic also slammed the country’s gun laws, saying: “It gives more of a rat’s a** about the guns they’re allowed to buy that kill the children that I’m forced to give birth to. Think about that.
