A teenager who claimed to be dating a woman nearly six decades his senior has revealed she is actually his grandmother.

19-year-old Giuseppe D’anna took TikTok by surprise as he claimed 76-year-old Milina Gatta was his girlfriend whom he made pregnant after the couple started dating.

The bizarre ‘relationship’ has since gone viral with the young man racking up millions of followers.

Now, however, Giuseppe’s fans were in for another surprise as the teenager from Italy told Jam Press that his entire relationship was fake.

As the teen insisted, the woman he claimed was his girlfriend is actually his biological grandmother. He also admitted to faking the relationship for the sake of popularity.

“Yes, Milina is my grandmother,” the 19-year-old said.

Giuseppe and Milina previously hit the headlines after the teen insisted they were in love and dating. Their story, however, came under scrutiny after the young man claimed he made his ‘girlfriend’ pregnant despite her age.

“I thought that was your grandma, but when I saw y’all kissing,” one viewer previously said as they admitted falling for the pair’s trick.

“It’s a happy couple, and they’re not going to waste time explaining something that most people don’t understand,” another insisted.

Following the big reveal, however, Giuseppe began facing a whole new wave of criticism with people suggesting it was worse to pretend to be dating your own relative than actually being in a relationship with an older person.

“The fact that he and his grandmother would snog for photos and pretend to be in a relationship is actually more disgusting than if he was actually dating someone else her age!” one outraged viewer noted.

Another said: “You have to be really sick in the head to even think to do this. Grow up!”
