The grieving widow of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who was best known for his role as the DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has written a heartbreaking message for their three children.
The professional dancer died on December 13, 2022, aged 40.
According to reports, he took an Uber from his home to a hotel nearby before switching his mobile phone to airplane mode.
When his wife, Allison Holker, couldn’t reach him, she rushed to the police station and said that it was very ‘unusual’ of him to suddenly disappear.
She also explained that they had not been experiencing any problems or arguments at home.
Staff at the hotel were forced to open Boss’ hotel room when he failed to check out the next day. But after entering, they found his lifeless body in the bathroom.
Boss reportedly left a note, which ‘ambiguously’ alluded to his ‘past challenges’ but TMZ said that it was ‘unclear exactly what he was referring to.’
Three months after Boss’ death, Holker has taken to social media and wrote a heartbreaking message to her children.
“My loves we are stronger than you could ever imagine,” she wrote on Instagram.
“And we will stand strong together as a unit, and find the courage to hold each other up. I will be here for you every step of the way through the highs and lows, the ups and the downs.
“I will protect and I will guide, I will be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, I will have mom jokes ready for when you need a good laugh.”
She concluded: “The love and light inside our hearts will still shine. I love you forever and always, Mommy.”
Her post received thousands of comments, including heartfelt messages from celebrities.
Ellen DeGeneres wrote: “I think about you all every day.”
Comedian and TV host Chelsea Handler commented: “You are a shining light.”
Actress Chrishell Stause said: “You are so incredible. Hope you feel your family wrapped in love from all over the world.”
