Nick Cannon’s answer to the question about whether he will get a vasectomy after having 12 children left many fans laughing.
The 42-year-old TV host appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live broadcast and was asked by hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen about the recent arrival of his 12th child with Alyssa Scott.
When asked whether he planned to have more kids, the comedian said: “Clearly, I don’t have a plan.”
Cannon went on: “Honestly, it’s really just so much joy and elation that I have for the family that I have and I embrace it and I love it, but I don’t have a plan. That should have been clear from the jump.”
When Cohen asked whether he will be getting a vasectomy as Cooper chuckled and shook his head, Cannon replied: “Is that what you want me to get?”
He then added: “This is my body, my choice!”
Cohen then said: “Yes, yes, that is right! Good for you.”
The Wild ‘n Out star has been making headlines as he welcomes one child after another.
Earlier this month, he and model Scott welcomed their daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, who was born on December 14 – about a year after their 5-month-old son, Zen, passed away from brain cancer.
The 29-year-old took to Instagram and shared a video of their baby and wrote: “Our lives are forever changed. Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning.
“I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face.”
Scott added: “I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine.
“My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!”
