The mother-of-one who shared her life on TikTok after she was diagnosed with terminal illness only weeks before her wedding has passed away at the age of 30.
Haley Odlozil was diagnosed with Stage IIIC ovarian cancer eight years ago but the illness did not stop her from being optimistic.
She also documented her journey and raised awareness about the disease via TikTok and Instagram, where she has thousands of fans who have stood by her.
After adjusting to her condition, Haley stared sharing her journey hoping that others also suffering from similar experiences would find some comfort in her positive outlook.
Her grieving husband, Taylor, took to his own Instagram and shared the heartbreaking news.
“It is with unbelievable sadness that I tell all of you my sweet Haley has passed away,” he wrote. “I cannot begin to describe the amount of [heartache] & grief myself & our entire family is experiencing.”
Taylor continued: “I never knew my heart could physically hurt. I’ve never seen someone fight so hard to live. Her love for me, Weston [their son], her family, & her friends is what has kept her going for so many years, especially the last 8 months.
“I’m so blessed to have had Haley a part of my life for 16 years. It has been my true honor to take care of her. I am so grateful for the lessons I have learned from Haley.”
The bereaved husband also said that his heart breaks most for their son.
“I don’t think he will ever fully understand what he meant to Haley. He was everything to her,” he added before thanking everyone for their unwavering support.
Before her passing, Haley would ask her son Weston: “When you can’t see Mommy or feel Mommy, where am I?”
Her son would reply: “In my heart.”
