A woman who recently celebrated her 50th birthday has shared how she was hit in the chest area while a guest ended up with a tooth knocked out after partygoers erupted into carnage.
But Lisa Keegan from Colne, Lancashire, insisted: “We are not a rough family – but that day it all got out of hand.”
The mother said that the party started in a civilized way. Guests were enjoying sandwiches and cake in her back garden when carnage unfolded after the drinks were served.
Speaking to Mail Online, Lisa said: “I always have a garden party for my birthday and this year was special with it being my 50th and the Queen’s Jubilee.
“The weather did not let us down but unfortunately one of my guests did.”
The birthday celebrant said she invited a friend, Adam Petriv, who she sees every day when she takes her dogs for a walk.
“He brought along a fancy bottle of vodka for me as a present – but when I told him I preferred gin, he drank it himself,” she said.
Lisa continued: “That was a mistake because he’s on medication and said he hadn’t had a drink for years. Well, it didn’t agree with him.”
She said that Adam started winding up a teenage guest, mocking his earring as well as the e-cigarette he was allowed to use to keep his ADHD and Tourette’s under control.
“He was bang out of order…. just causing trouble and insulting people. My daughter’s boyfriend Tony looks out for the lad and told Adam to shut up.”
The 50-year-old also said that Adam said some personal stuff to her daughter’s boyfriend that they ended up fighting, leaving Adam with a bloody nose and a knocked-out tooth.
“I tried to separate them, but Tony was so drunk he started hitting me and not Adam. I was punched in the bo*bs, the back all over. This is Colne for you. We are not a rough family but that day it all got out of hand,” she said.
Soon she asked her mother to call the police as she was already ‘spooked’ by what’s going on. The police arrived and drove Adam home.
A few hours later, Adam returned wearing clean clothes and tried to be nice to everyone.
“I cannot say he spoiled my birthday because it was hilarious and one I’ll remember the rest of my life. But I won’t be inviting him next year, not a chance,” Lisa added.
