Whether you want to keep an ear out for your sleeping little one when you are in the other room or you just want to see what your baby is up to, baby monitors always come in handy.
But one mother was left horrified while using her baby gear as she spotted spooky figures right next to her sleeping baby.
Mom Taylor Buist believes she saw a ‘face’ staring at her daughter and she was left completely terrified.
The 22-year-old mom from Michigan took a photo of the monitor and highlighted the spot with a circle before sharing it on social media to ask other people if they could also see the creepy faces.
“Man the longer I stare the more creepy it gets,” she wrote.
Social media users were also left horrified by the figures and many explained that this was the reason why they chose not to use such devices.
One person commented: “I refused to get a baby monitor for our baby ONLY because I didn’t want to get creeped out. I can’t imagine how scared I’d be if I saw that on the cam.”
Another wrote: “I could not use baby monitors for this reason and also the possibility of hearing voices.”
A third said: “I was like ‘what am I looking fo—oh.’ literally looks like a whole face, nose and all!”
But many were not convinced, with one commenting: “My eyesight must be acting up, I just can’t see them.”
Another said: “If you hadn’t put the circles they wouldn’t look like faces to anyone else. I understand you can see them but I assure you they’re not there. They’re only there because you’re looking for them.”
