An 82-year-old died instantly after being hit by a flying cow that was struck and flung 100ft into the air by a train.
Shivdayal Sharma from India was urinating on the track about 30 meters away from where the farm animal was hit by an express train in Alwar, Rajasthan.
According to reports, another person who had been standing next to the elderly man managed to escape the collision.
Sharma was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Outlook India reported.
The massive animal was also killed after the tragic incident.
The shocking incident happened after a herd of cows started wandering onto the tracks. It is not new for cows to be struck by high-speed trains in the country, with more than 26,000 incidents reported from 2022 to 2023 alone.
The recent incident prompted many officials to rally for better regulation on the train route.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw just announced that measures such as vegetational and garbage removal had started to cull the animals.
One railway erected fences around the tracks to stop the cows from entering.
This comes after an experienced farmer was attacked by a cow in Cumbria.
Dani Blair was nearly trampled by the animal in a calving pen before her husband Matthew arrived to intervene.
CCTV footage showed the cow headbutting the woman into a wall. She was thrown into the air and landed on the ground but managed to crawl away after Matthew entered the pen.
One person commented: “Poor chap. Just goes to show, you can never really tell when your time on this wonderful planet might come to an end. Enjoy life.”
Another wrote: “Poor fella. What a way to go. What would the odds be on that one.”
