A 36-year-old man who tied the knot with a doll named Margo has opened up on how their relationship was going years after they got married.
It was in November 2020 when Yuri Tolochko made headlines after he and his doll tied the knot in a grand ceremony after ‘dating’ for a year.
According to reports, their union was considered legal as a local Kazakhastan law omits the mention of an object and the only requirements for a wedding to happen are that both consenting individuals have to be male and female and over 18 years old.
Yuri previously revealed that he and Margo first met in 2019 at a bar where she was ‘working’ and fell in love right away.
The doll was programmed with simple sentences and even had heating functions to give her a body temperature.
Yuri claimed that the new-found fame gave his wife a ‘complex’ that left her wanting to undergo plastic surgery.
The 36-year-old also shared how Margo is different from his previous relationships.
“Margo never reproaches me when I’m busy, or when I’m not home for three days. So it’s very convenient for me, because I am very busy,” he said.
Yuri also revealed that his wife had to be repairs after some components inside of her broke. While she was gone, Yuri also tied the knot with another doll named Lola.
He insisted at that time that he was not doing it for ‘publicity.’
“I don’t get any money from advertising my relationship with Margo. I show my life and I am known for living freely,” he said.
“Some people see me as a role model,” Yuri went on, adding that his posts make many people happy.
