A young woman who is in a relationship with a woman 37 years older than him has spoken out to defend their romantic relationship.

25-year-old Quran McCain and his wife Cheryl McGregor took to TikTok where they addressed the common question they receive: “Why do you go so hard for someone who’s 37 years older than you?”

The husband captioned their viral clip: “She completes me,” and said in the video: “I wanna feel alive I don’t even wanna die anymore.”

Even though they tried to silence critics, many were still targeting them and calling Cheryl ‘grandma.’

Many fans are still sending positive messages to support the couple, with one writing: “Age is just a number if you are both happy then let it be.”

Another wrote: “You 2 are cute together. I can’t wait to be as happy as you guys one day.”

A third added: “Me and my man is 27 years apart and we’re very happy he’s my best friend.”

Cheryl and Quran first met at her son Chris’s fast food restaurant Dairy Queen in Georgia. He was 15 at that time.

They did not get romantically involved right away and only became a couple in 2020, with Quran proposing to Cheryl in 2021.

They got married in September of the same year with two of their friends present.

In a previous interview with The Morning Show, Quran said: “We are just going to keep living our lives because we are happy, we are very much happy, this is a happy healthy marriage, we are looking to start our family and that’s all we got.”
