The 64-year-old Queen of Pop has made a bombshell confession to her followers on Instagram and it left them flabbergasted.

Madonna told her 18 million followers that she has never been circumcised – a procedure done to male genitalia and is common for newborn boys in certain parts of the world.

“I have a confession to make,” the Material Girl hitmaker wrote before adding a series of her photos.

In the last image, Madonna took her skirt off and placed it on her head.

Over the photo, she wrote: “I was not circumcised.”

The 64-year-old has been using social media platforms to give adoring fans a glimpse of her daily life as well as confessions.

But she recently faced backlash online after sharing a video in which she announced that she is gay.

In the controversial clip, Madonna can be seen throwing a pair of pink knickers into a bathroom bin.

She captioned the video: “If I miss, I’m Gay!”

The singer tried to shoot but missed before throwing an arm in the air. Some internet users congratulated her and described the moment as ‘historic’ but others accused her of queer-baiting – a term used for describing a celebrity marketing ploy where they appear to hint that they are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Madonna queer bating is hardly news, she’s been doing it for 30 years, why are conversations happening about it??” one user wrote.

“Madonna just came out as queer. I guess not being in the news for a few months did a number on her,” another wrote.

“We don’t invite her to the lgbt community,” a third said.

Her fans were quick to defend her from critics, with one person writing: “She’s been such a strong ally to the gay community for decades. She did things that no other celebrity was doing. ESPECIALLY FOR HIV/AIDS AWARENESS.”
