One heartbroken fan wrote: “A true Hollywood beauty and icon when Hollywood represented real glitz and glamour. RIP Gina.”

Another said: “She was gorgeous. A natural beauty like Claudia Cardinale and Sophia Loren. RIP Gina.”

A third added: “Nobody in films has a figure like the stars of the 50s and 60s. Gina was a wonderfully beautiful woman, like Claudia Cardinale and Sophia Loren. They don’t seem to have waists anymore!”
