Katy Perry’s nickname for her ex-husband Russell Brand has been revealed after the comedian has been accused of r*pe and assa*lt.
Journalist Piers Morgan revealed the Roar hitmaker’s nickname for her ex when he tried to interview the singer back in 2013.
He said in The Sun that he had heard Perry herself calling the TV presenter ‘Rasputin.’
In Russia, Rasputin is the historical figure known for seducing women and it also means ‘debauched one.’
Russell and Katy tied the knot in October 2010 but the comedian filed for divorce in after only 14 months of marriage.
When Piers told the nickname to Russell, the actor was ‘thrilled’ by the moniker.
“He was a pretty powerful bloke, he could manipulate folk with his eyes,” Russell said upon hearing the nickname.
Some of Russell’s alleged victims said the comedian had ‘glazed look’ in his eyes during the alleged incidents.
One woman claimed: “I’m stuck underneath the painting and he’s pushing up against me. He’s a lot taller than me. And he has that glazed look in his eye again. And I can’t move. And I told him, ‘Get off, get off.’”
Speaking with Piers, Russell went on: “I like Rasputin… he was all right, wasn’t he… a mad monk with magical, mystical powers, having it off with everyone, drinking and getting into fights.”
Piers revealed how he tried to interview Perry at a Vanity Fair party in 2013 but the Fireworks singer was not ready to talk about her divorce.
She reportedly said: “Because you’ll get the truth out of me, and I’m just not ready to tell you the truth. In fact, I’m not sure I’m ready to admit the truth to myself.
“You Brits are all the same, so damn confident… Trouble is, I find that irresistible. I love Brits… Well, not all of them – not Rasputin, obviously.”
