YouTuber Eugenia Cooney once again showed off her thin frame in a new dancing video, sparking serious concern from her fans.
The 29-year-old social media influencer from Massachusetts first gained popularity in the 2010s after she shared makeup tutorials on YouTube but she has recently sparked major concern after she started displaying her protruding hip bones and dangerously thin frame.
Her fans were left horrified after she shared a new video of herself dancing to Bidi Bidi Bom Bom by Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
In her TikTok video, she can be seen wearing a purple jumpsuit while lip-syncing to the song and dancing around the room.
Her followers were quick to share their concerns in the comments section of the clip, which has been viewed more than 8 million times in less than a day.
One viewer wrote: “You are beautiful and far too young to leave this world. Get help lovely.”
Another said: “Love, I adore you and now I’m officially terrified for you. What can we do to convince you to get some help?”
A third commented: “I don’t know how this person hasn’t been committed to an inpatient facility by now. This is a display of severe illness and malnutrition.”
Someone else said: “Please seek medical assistance ASAP.”
Another expressed: “Your hip and pelvic ones look so painful sticking out like that.”
A different user added: “Oh my goodness love, please get help. I’m afraid it’s almost too late.”
In 2016, over 18,000 people signed a petition that called for Cooney to be banned from YouTube, claiming she was promoting anorexia.
She said at that time: “Some people are saying I’m a bad influence on girls.”
“I just want you guys to know, like, I have seriously never have tried to be a bad influence on YouTube or to influence anyone badly. I would never want to do that,” Cooney continued.
“I have never told anyone to try to like lose weight or to try to like change the way they look or to look like me.”
