A famous YouTuber has sparked a wave of concern after her new video revealed her thin frame as she continues her battle against anorexia.
It was in 2013 when Eugenia Cooney started sharing videos of herself on the platform, where she gained supporters and fans who watch her clips for her makeup tutorials.
But many have always been worried about her physique and her new video just fueled the outcry of concern surrounding her tiny frame.
In her new video, she could be seen wearing a pink cowboy hat, a blonde wig, and a two-piece pink outfit.
But it was not her attire that caught viewers’ attention – it was her very thin frame.
People were quick to urge her to get help, with one concerned viewer commenting: “How is this extremely sick girl allowed to influence millions of kids? Her accounts should be shut down and she should be hospitalized.”
Another wrote: “So sad. She’s going to die if she doesn’t get help soon. This is horrible. Who are the people filming, following and cheering this on?”
A third said: “That’s worrying. I hope she’s okay.”
Someone else said: “Oh that is painful to see, that person is near death like that. Not a good person for kids to be inspired by.”
Another commented: “Omg this is so sad, so very sad. I hope she gets help before her heart stops. I will pray for her.”
“I am surprised she has the energy to stand, let alone walk. I hope she finds peace and help for her anorexia,” one user penned.
“This is extremely concerning. She’s been like this for a long time, I’m surprised thus far she hasn’t received help for her problems,” someone else added.
Fans have been begging Cooney to get help and some even started a petition to ban her from YouTube for allegedly ‘promoting anorexia.’
She released a statement at that time, saying: “Some people are saying I’m like a bad influence on girls. I just want you guys to know like I have seriously never have tried to be a bad influence on YouTube or to influence anyone badly. I would never want to do that.
“I have never told anyone to try to like lose weight or to try to like change the way they look or to look like me.”
