‘My Husband And I Have Inked Eyeballs, Split Tongue And 91 Tattoos That People Started Calling Us Real-Life Cherubs’

A couple who have tattoos all over their body and modifications including a split tongue and inked eyeballs are being dubbed the ‘real life cherubs from h*ll’.

Gabriela and Victor tied the knot more than 15 years ago after they bonded over their passion for modifying their bodies.

They have even received the Guinness World Record title for ‘most body modifications’ for married people.

To make sure that Gabriela can continue her desired appearance, she has spent more than $800 on implants below her neck to make her arms bigger.

“I wanted to make this modification because I want to add more to my body. In reality, a modification for me forms part of my complete appearance and makes a new detail to a set [I already have]. And all together, that achieves me,” she explained.

The body modification fanatic also revealed that she underwent biomech implants in Mexico, where they were invited to participate in an exhibition.

The couple’s friend, Gato Moreno, invited them to stay at his home and also visit his tattoo studio, where he performed the invasive procedure.

In an interview with NeedToKnow.co.uk, Gabriela said: “Pain is funny to me, as it can be felt for breaking something or an accident – but not for body modifications. The pain is part of the show, it has no comparison with anything else.

“You also have to bear in mind [post-surgery] that it’s important not to hit it and wait for the swelling to go down to achieve optimal results.”

In a video shared on Instagram, Gabriela further added: “I didn’t get inspired by anything and I’m super determined throughout. When I choose what I want, imagine how the finished and healed look will work out, then I’m going for it.

“For the most part, it’s just aesthetics. The people around me are used to seeing our changes, so they are not surprised and those who don’t know us much believe they don’t notice the difference between one more or less [modification].

“For me, negative reactions don’t exist, as I don’t pay attention to them. I’m very sure of what I like and what I want for myself, so I don’t cater my life to other people and I don’t allow them to invade that. I am super happy and satisfied with the decisions I make. I don’t regret anything.”
