Danny Masterson’s victims have spoken out after Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher shared a video apologizing over their letters of support for their former co-star, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The couple had written letters that vouched for his character, leaving fans furious.
While Kunis praised his ‘exceptional character,’ Kutcher described him as a ‘role model.’
People who have spoken out against the actor have also slammed the Hollywood couple.
Journalist Yashar Ali revealed the horrified reaction of one of the victims, according to the Mirror, writing: “Jane Doe #1, one of the women Danny Masterson was convicted of r*ping, just texted me her reaction to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ video.”
The message showed the victims’ emotions. “This video was incredibly insulting and hurtful. My hope is that they learn radical accountability and the importance of self-education to learn when to keep their privilege in check—especially Ashton, who claims to work with victims of s*x crimes.
“And as to Mila, I can only think of ‘Times Up.’”
Masterson’s ex-girlfriend, actress Chrissie Carnell Bixler, accused Kutcher of being ‘just as sick’ as Masterson.
“In my opinion, you’re just as sick as your ‘mentor,’” she wrote.
Carnell Bixler also targeted Kunis and said: “If that’s what you view as a normal relationship with a ‘big brother figure,’ then I feel very sad for you, and I hope you consider getting into therapy,” adding: “You all must forget that I was there the whole time those first 5 years of ‘That ‘70s Show.’ I remember everything.”
Carnell Bixler also took to social media and said in an emotional post after the sentencing: “I’m still processing everything that happened yesterday. I will say that last night I had my first solid and peaceful night’s sleep in years.”
