Britney Spears’ fans believe that the end of her conservatorship would open a new chapter of stability and happiness for the Princess of Pop.
The singer has shared photos and videos of her freedom on social media but her posts sparked fears that she is damaged by the 13-year arrangement that controlled her personal and financial affairs, the Daily Mail reported.
According to the outlet, her family claimed that she is taking crystal meth.
Kevin Federline, her ex-husband and father of their children, told Daily Mail: “I fear she’s on meth. I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.”
Britney’s sons Jayden, 16, and Preston, 17, refuse to see their mother and claimed that they have seen illegal substances being delivered to their house.
The singer’s father, Jamie, also told Daily Mail that he fears his daughter will die like Amy Winehouse, who passed away at the age of 27.
Federline went on: “Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news. I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.”
Many family members said they tried to reach out to the singer but they claimed that the 41-year-old does not want their concern and is now depending on her advisers.
Last month, Britney took to social media to tell her fans that there had been a step towards reconciliation with her mom, Lynne.
She said that her mother ‘showed up at my doorstep after three years,’ adding: ‘I love you so much!!!’
