A woman surprised her wedding guests by reading her cheating fiancé’s texts instead of vows at her wedding.
The young lady in question – whom we shall call Stacey – found out the man she thought she would stay forever with was cheating on her just moments before their wedding after discovering texts confirming his affair with another woman.
Determined to get her sweet revenge, the woman went on with her wedding as planned. On her big day, however, she traded her vows for her fiancé’s cheating text messages and read them out loud in front of the pair’s families and friends.
“This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game,” the woman’s fiancé wrote in one of his messages to another woman.
Another text read: “Your body is f***ing incredible. And s**t do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do.”
The cheating partner allegedly also told his lover that he “never had this kind of connection before.”
Speaking to Whimn, Stacey explained she had received screenshots of the affair texts from an unknown number via her cellphone just hours before the event. She also claimed her partner had no idea of what was coming until she began reading his texts out loud in front of the attendees.
“I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath and I faced our friends, our parents and I told them the truth about Alex,” she said.
After reading the texts, she added: “There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”
