Even after getting married, couples continue to learn more about their partner as they grow old together.
But one bride-to-be got the shock of her life only moments before their wedding as she discovered that her future husband was still breastfeeding from his mother.
It was a wedding make-up artist who shared the story and left audiences shocked after revealing the groom’s big secret.
Beauty professional Jenny shared the story with UK wedding planner Georgie Mitchell, who recounted the tale on podcast ‘Unfiltered Bride.’
Georgie told co-host Beth how “(The bride) walked into the toilet and what she saw is enough to end a wedding.”
Beth first thought that the groom had been cheating on the woman but Georgie then explained that the bride’s discovery was ‘much worse’ than that.
“He was being breastfed by his mom,” Georgie revealed.
A shocked Beth then said: “Sorry, WHAT? Why would you marry a man [who still breastfeeds]?” to which Georgie replied: “I don’t think she knew that was what was happening!”
The hosts then wondered why his mother was still producing milk. Then Georgie concluded that she had “obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point.”
Even though most people would say they would stop the wedding right there, the bride still went ahead with the ceremonies.
“Everybody is in the room waiting! But you definitely wouldn’t kiss when they say will you kiss the groom!” Georgie added.
Listeners were left shocked by the discovery, with one person commenting: “The strongest man couldn’t lift my jaw right now.”
Another said: “Took ‘mommy’s boy’ to a whole new level.”
A third said: “I wouldn’t put anything past some people these days but uuuhhhhh.”
