A 41-year-old stuntman who worked on the Marvel films The Avengers and Black Panther has passed away alongside his three children.
Taraja Ramsess and three of his children, Sundari Ramsess, 13, Kisasi Ramsess, 10, and two-month-old baby, Fugibo Ramsess lost their lives in the accident that occurred along an exit ramp on Interstate 20 in Delakb County, Georgia.
His 3-year-old daughter was left in critical but stable condition after the incident.
According to reports, Ramsess was driving a Ford F-150 with all of his children on Halloween night when their vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer.
The impact instantly took the lives of the father and three of his children.
Ramsess did stunts for Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame and Black Panther. His work was also featured in ‘The Suicide Squad,’ ‘Creed III,’ ‘Atlanta,’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’
He also worked as a set dresser on more than 40 projects including ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ and ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.’
Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for the stuntman and his devastated family.
A GoFundMe page has also been setup and raised over $81,000.
His grieving mother, Akili Ramsess, took to Instagram and wrote: “All who knew and met him know how special Taraja was. He had a deep capacity for love and loved his children more than all. He loved his martial arts, motorcycles and all things related to filmmaking.
“He a very droll yet wicked sense of humor & yet could be as cornball corny as can be. Sundari, Sunny as she was called, also reflected that special light. Funny & loved to dance. Oh God! I can’t believe they’re gone!”
Filmmaker Ave DuVernay also said on Instagram: “He walked like a king. And to me, always acted like one. He was a part of our crew family at ARRAY. He left us last night forever in a way that makes the hearts of all who knew him break into a million pieces.”
