Heartbreaking footage has resurfaced showcasing cops from Ohio mistreating a paraplegic driver, despite him pleading for help.
The police officers reportedly dragged the disabled man out from his vehicle while he yelled and screamed that he was paraplegic. But that made no difference in the officer’s strikingly brutal behavior, as they continued to drag him along.
The shocking incident reportedly took place last month with the victim being identified as Clifford Owensby. Moreover, reports from Unilad went on to mention how Ohio police pulled out the man because they claimed his windows were tinted in a dark tone and that was against their rules.
“It simply did not meet the state’s regulations because windows can’t be tinted in such a dark color,” they explained but many felt that was not the right way to approach any citizen, especially considering the fact that he was disabled and mentioned that repeatedly to the authorities.
The cops can be seen in the tragic footage ordering the man to immediately get out of his vehicle. But the man refused and tried to explain that he couldn’t make an exit because he was paraplegic.
The jaw-dropping scene was all recorded on the officer’s bodycam footage, which clearly showed them ignoring Owensby’s cry for help.
“You are going to get out of this car! So, you can either choose to cooperate and get out of the vehicle or I’ll just have to drag you out here. Now, do you see your two options,” the officer can be heard yelling.
Reports from the WHIO mentioned how the man was reportedly handcuffed and then dragged out of the vehicle.
Similarly, the victim may also be seen requesting another man who was a passerby to come forward as his witness.
In the same way, he called up a number of his friends and requested them to bring cameras just so he could record the unfolding events. The case is currently being investigated as many citizens have sparked their concerns on the horrifying matter.
