Shocking footage made from a cellphone caught a vice principal from a school in New Jersey arguing and throwing beer at diners who filmed his wife’s transphobic rant recently.
In the video, Michael Smurro who observed arguing with a group of outdoor diners regarding his wife’s complaints about a transgender woman who went ahead and used the women’s bathroom confirmed local media outlets.
“A man just entered into a women’s toilets, and it’s not right,” she is heard saying.
“She’s a man, in my bathroom,” she repeated explains.
But the person on the other hand defends her actions by stating that Smurro’s wife was just trying her level best to spew nothing but hate and homophobia.Here, the woman can be seen arguing with Smurro’s wife and boldly telling her to take her hate elsewhere as it was definitely not going to be tolerated or appreciated by anyone here.
On that note, Smurro rushed to the rescue of his wife and got a bit too excited to go and defend her battle.
Hence, he was seen walking up to the group of diners and then tossing over the beer from his glass, right at their table.After the incident went viral with Smurro’s video being shared across several platforms, he was quick to issue a statement of apology over the incident.
In the statement, Smurro mentioned, “I did allow my emotions to get into the way of everything and that includes my normally sound judgment too.
I reacted in a manner that was not only inappropriate but wrong. ”Currently, the incident is being investigated as mentioned by the superintendent of Neptune Middle School where Smurro works. Hence, he also mentioned how such incidents shouldn’t happen and hence will be dealt with seriously.
Meanwhile, the restaurant’s owner also gave his two cents on the matter that unfolded in his presence. He claimed that the violent confrontation was very unfortunate while referring to it as an ugly ordeal.
