Terrifyingly tragic reports have gone on to speak about a massive wildfire near Yosemite National Park that is expanding to nearby areas at a swift pace.
A new warning was recently declared by officials regarding the heartbreaking tragedy as thousands were ordered to evacuate the area immediately.
At the moment, more than 400 firefighters have arrived at the scene to battle the huge blaze that is currently threatening nearly 2000 homes as well as businesses.
Experts claim the giant Oak Fire exploded to a record-breaking size of nearly 6,555 acres this Saturday in California’s Mariposa County.
It is also believed that the huge wildfire started during the afternoon hours on Friday. The exact location for the fire’s start was identified to be located near the Midpines. As of now, it is not known what the exact cause of the wildfire is but sources revealed how it’s getting investigated as we speak.
Meanwhile, reports from Cal Fire were seen mentioning how the fire activity is very extreme in nature and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the explosive behavior is definitely sounding a huge threatening alarm for those living in the vicinity.
“It’s a massive challenge for firefighters. The situation is getting worse, more like a nightmare come true”- mentioned one of the witnesses from the scene.
The blaze is also believed to serve as a huge threat to numerous businesses and residences in the area, as confirmed by local media outlets recently.
As of the recent statistics made by officials, around 6,000 people were being given evacuation orders by state officials as more than 2000 different structures are under threat of being engulfed by the huge blaze.
