Former WWE wrestler and ‘Tough Enough’ Champion Sara Lee has passed away at the age of 30.
Lee rose to fame in the world of wrestling back in 2015 after winning in the sixth season of the WWE competition show called Tough Enough.
After her one-year contract with WWE, the young lady joined Team Vision Dojo wrestling center in Orlando, Florida.
In 2017, Lee tied the knot with Cory Weston, who is better known by the wrestling name of Wesley Blake, and the couple went on to welcome three children into their family.
While Lee, who was born in Michigan, recently suffered a sinus infection, she posted a picture of herself back in the gym just two days before her premature passing.
“Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row – first ever sinus infection kicked my butt,” she wrote in her post.
On Thursday, however, the wrestler’s mother, Terri, announced the tragic news saying everyone was left in shock over Sara’s sudden passing.
“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus,” she expressed.
“We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially Cory and her children.”
Lee is survived by her husband and their three children including Piper, 5, Brady, 3, and a one-year-old baby boy.
As of this writing, the family is preparing for Lee’s funeral, whereas the cause of death remains unclear.
Our thoughts are with Sara’s husband, children, and the rest of the family during this tragic time.
