One of the victims of the shooting that took place on Wirral at a Christmas Eve party has finally been named.
Sources from local media outlets spoke about an incident entailing the death of a victim that ensued after a gunman opted to open fire on partygoers at an event that was held at the Lighthouse in Wallasey Village.
The aftermath resulted in at least four people getting injured and one young woman being killed.
She has since then been identified as a loving 26-year-old beautician named Elle Edwards who came out to have a great time but little did she or anyone else know that it would really turn out to be a tragic ending, one day before the festive Christmas time.
It was nearly midnight when the loving woman has shot in the head thanks to bullets aimed in all directions by the shooter. He opened fire wildly at The Lighthouse Pub and all hell broke loose. People began to panic and scream for help in all directions.
Edwards was soon rushed to a nearby hospital called Arrowe Park but she couldn’t sustain the critical injuries and die in the end.
Her family says they are beyond horrified at what went on. It just did not make sense how so much happened in so little time. Four men had been injured and they ended up sustaining injuries as reported by the BBC.
Her Instagram account released a message that put her loved ones and friends in absolute tears. This is not the way anyone should be spending their Christmas, the parents cried as they mourn the loss of the young woman.
As investigations continue in the case, many are wondering when such incidents will come to an end because frankly speaking, they’ve really had enough.
