A devastating tragedy has taken place in Belarus where a young woman was strangled to death by her own hair.
The victim was identified by authorities as 21-year-old Umida Nazarova who suffered from the most serious injuries to her head, which led to her scalp being ripped off completely.
The young woman passed away tragically after 20 days after she failed to regain her consciousness in Belarus.
Sources claim that the horror act occurred when the young and pregnant woman was at a job interview for a position at a factory. And that’s when all of a sudden, her hair got tangled inside a factory machine that resulted in critical injuries.
The woman’s grieving family members spoke in detail about how Umida was so excited to apply for the new job position but little did she realize that it would result in her untimely and tragic death.
The Svarmet Factory where the interview was reportedly held was renowned for producing welding wire as well as electrodes.
During a round with several senior staff members who were showing the pregnant victim, the tragedy occurred when her loose tresses got stuck in the machine, which wrapped around her neck.
The victim was covered with blood all over and became trapped in a position where she simply couldn’t move.
“Her throat was so badly hurt”- revealed her mother in an emotional tone. While doctors tried to save the young woman, the injuries were too severe and she passed away tragically in the end.
Seniors doctors involved in the case revealed that if the victim’s scalp wasn’t torn off, she would potentially have been strangled to death, there and then, as a result of her own hair.
