A young woman died suddenly and without a warning while dining with her parents on Sunday night.
26-year-old Daniella Jade Duchatel from Brisbane, Australia, was playing cards with her parents after a family dinner when she suddenly collapsed to the floor and stopped responding.
While waiting for the paramedics to arrive at their home, the girl’s parents attempted to resuscitate the young government worker who dreamed of traveling the work
Unfortunately, Daniella could not be saved and was pronounced dead by the medics.
The aspiring traveler’s death comes just a month after Daniella underwent emergency surgery when she broke her leg and tore her ligaments during a walk home.
While the family is waiting for the autopsy to confirm the cause of death, doctors believe that the surgery may have resulted in a blood clot that traveled to her lungs and caused cardiac arrest.
“It is with the greatest sadness that I inform you all that our daughter Daniella Jade Duchatel passed away peacefully last night,” Daniella’s grieving mom revealed.
“We will update you all with funeral details in the coming days. Please give us some time to come to terms with our loss.”
Meanwhile, one of the young woman’s best friends, Janis Michel, posted a touching tribute in which she remembered the times she had spent with Daniella as the “happiest moments” of her life.
“Your love and kindness was so pure and being around you made me want to be a better person.point 191 | The time spent with you have been some of my happiest moments of my life, from falling asleep on the sofas watching friends to fighting off frogs in the rainforest I cherish it all and will forever remember our amazing memories and time together,” Janis wrote in her tribute.point 420 | 1
“I love you my sweet angel. Rest easy, and I will see you again. For now like you told me I will go galivanting the world for the both of us. I miss you so much my sister.”
