Chris Rock’s latest stand-up comedy performance has the world talking for some pretty obvious reasons.
The star chose to open up for the first time on some very controversial issues including his suffering from selective outrage after he behaved violently during the Oscars last year.
Chris Rock claims he has always felt that the slap that ensued was never really about him and the audience members seated there knew that too.
But yet, the fact that he was being punished for the rift between the couple was not fair. “She slept with his son’s best friend!”- how is that for a reality check”- the comedian continued to add.
He even confessed how ridiculous it was that Smith’s wife confessed to him about her affair during the interview and not before that. This was not something you see often, he added.
And the response she got was him taking her to a resort that costs thousands of dollars a night.
Chris Rock has really accepted the slap has a huge life-changing event in his life and that his relationship with the couple will never be the same again.
Rock never accepted the apology that was generated by the Oscar-winning celeb as he felt that it was just not acceptable for what happened during the live broadcast event where millions of people witnessed the horror.
The words spoken by the comedian did take a lot of people by surprise. But even more than that, it managed to get out a reaction from hundreds who waited to see the performer live during the event.
It’s almost as if they enjoyed hearing him lash the duo and talk about the slap that occurred nearly one year ago.
Today, as he moves on, the star hopes to put it all behind him and prefers to watch Will Smith’s movies where his a** gets whooped as he continues to suffer from ringing in his ears after the ordeal.
