A deadly lightning strike has left three people dead and one critically injured in Washington DC.
According to local media outlets, the incident took place right outside the White House, where deadly weather conditions resulted in a huge thunderstorm and lightning.
Witnesses described the horror of seeing several people fall to the ground after lightning had struck them badly in the area. At first, sources spoke about the deaths of an elderly couple from Wisconsin that celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage together. But little did they know that they would also die together.
Meanwhile, men from the secret service team of President Biden were seen rushing toward the victims who were lying helplessly outside the White House after the devastating strike.
The uniformed individuals were seen rushing to be by the side of the victims and were doing their level best at offering first aid. But little did they know that they were dead.
After being unresponsive for a while, paramedics made the quick decision to rush them over to a nearby medical facility where they were being treated for their injuries. At first, two of the four victims were pronounced dead. But today, sadly the death count increased to 3 while one remains critically injured.
